Greetings kindergarteners and families!
My name is Mrs. Sandy Johnson, and I’m the kindergarten teacher at Sacred Heart! I love being a part of the Sacred Heart family and can’t wait to get to know all of you and your families!
Our family moved to Adams in June 2013, and we are absolutely in love with the community! I was raised in a small town (pop. 400) in central MN, and we’ve always wanted to raise our children in the same type of close community. We have two amazing kids. Our son, Micah, is 9 and going into third grade and our daughter, Liliana, is 6 and will be in first grade. Watching them grow and learn has been my life’s greatest joy.
I have my elementary education degree from the University of Minnesota- Duluth. I also have a teaching communication arts/literature minor, which basically means I LOVE books! Particularly children’s books! We’re going to do a lot of reading in kindergarten! I was raised in a strong Catholic family, and am so excited about the opportunity to share God’s love with my students!
Open communication is extremely important to me! Please feel free to contact me anytime with questions, concerns, comments, or even just cute little stories of what your kiddos are up to at home.
I’m looking forward to getting to know your children and family more and being partners in your child’s education!
Sincerely,
Sandy Johnson
